ST. GEORGE, UT — After trouncing Hawaii on Friday, Utah will play Southern California for the West Regional Tournament championship on Saturday.
The Dixie Little League team, based in St. George, Utah, defeated the Hilo Little League team 12-6 on Friday thanks to a strong performance on the mound — and at the plate — from Kean Webb. Webb tossed five innings, allowing just one run on four hits and striking out nine batters. He also added two hits and three RBIs in the game, including an RBI double in the top of the 4th inning to make the score 8-6.
Dixie will play Southern California’s Santa Margarita Little League team at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday. The game will be played at the Al Houghton Stadium in San Bernardino, California.
