In the afternoon window, No. 5 Georgia was the beneficiary of another controversial late call and escaped with a win over Florida.

During the evening games, No. 8 Georgia Tech suffered a surprise loss to NC State and No. 18 Oklahoma overwhelmed No. 14 Tennessee in a solid road win. And in the nightcap, No. 24 Utah bludgeoned No. 17 Cincinnati 45-14 to cap Saturday’s action.
