The final Memphis Grizzlies game of the NBA’s rivalry week had an extra flare.
Two first-half scuffles resulted in Grizzlies and Utah Jazz players being separated. Jazz center Drew Eubanks also was ejected after referees issued him a flagrant-2 foul for speeding up and running into Zach Edey.
Cooler heads prevailed, but the Grizzlies kept heating up. They dominated the third quarter and cruised to a 125-103 victory Saturday night at FedExForum.
The Grizzlies (31-15) outscored Utah 36-17 in the third quarter. Eight Grizzlies players scored during the balanced quarter that was spearheaded by tenacious defense that led to six turnovers from Utah (10-33).
Jaren Jackson Jr. led the Grizzlies with 28 points. Ja Morant returned to the lineup after missing Friday’s game and finished with 11 points and seven assists.

The Grizzlies have won six games in a row. They’ll return to action Monday night in a road matchup against the New York Knicks.
